"We are moving beyond knowledge replacement. We are building the infrastructure for human thinking."
About
Whitney D. Baker is a Canadian educator, curriculum strategist, and independent researcher specializing in the application of Agentic AI across diverse educational ecosystems.
With a professional career spanning more than 25 years across Canada, the UK, China, and Malaysia, Whitney currently serves as an educational leader within a large urban school board. His work bridges the gap between high-level policy and the "classroom truth" of daily practice.
Driven by the discipline of a lifelong health educator, his current focus involves the intersection of modern AI tools and agentic workflows—re-architecting the student-AI relationship to support executive function, equity, and human agency.
Current Research
The Gym Spotter Protocol™
A pedagogical architecture designed to align AI interactions with academic integrity. The protocol acts as a system constraint, preventing the AI from generating finished answers and forcing it instead to use Socratic dialogue to scaffold student thinking.
EdTechEvolution
An independent design lab focused on the intersection of modern AI tools and agentic workflow deployment. Whitney utilizes modern LLM stacks (Gemini 3.0, Claude 4.5) to build bespoke agents that function as executive function coaches for diverse learners.
